How can I make a reservation?

Do you need a deposit?

No deposit required for the semi private cruises, you can make a reservation and pay the day of the cruise. Regarding the private cruise, the payment arrangement is made with our office.

Should I provide my personal details?

We will need your name, an email/ phone number, and the name of your hotel to arrange the pick-up time and point, 24h before the cruise. All your personal data are strictly protected. Please read the Privacy Policy for further details. Click to privacy policy

How do I pay?

You can pay either by card, via paypal or cash, in advance or on the spot.

Will you pick me up from my hotel?

Yes of course. Our reservations department will let you know in advance about the pick-up point and time.

What should I bring with me?

Your good mood and some sunscreen, we provide everything else.

Do not forget to have your ID / passport with you so that we can do the identification process according to the instructions of the local authorities (a copy or a picture in your phone, is ok).

What if I need to cancel?

There is a free cancelation policy 24 hours before the cruise. Check our cancelation policy here.

What if the cruise is cancelled due to inclement weather?

We will reschedule if you have the time, otherwise we will cancel without any fee.

What about your COVID-19 approach?

At Caldera Yachting, we pride ourselves on delivering a superior customer experience. Integral to that experience is providing a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and employees. From the very first moment, we are constantly updated with the guidelines from Greek authorities and international health organizations, to make sure we follow their health precautions related to COVID-19.

We have created a new functional model adapted to current conditions due to the outbreak. Security measures are applied in a way that does not compromise the unique experience of our cruises. You can check our Covid policy here.

What if I am not familiar with boats?

Do not worry at all! Our experienced crew is here to initiate you to the world of sailing. All the safe means and assistance you may need are provided on board.

Can I swim during the cruise? What if I am not a great swimmer?

Sure! We do have swimming stops; you can choose whether you will swim or enjoy the sun on the deck. Please inform the crew about your swimming skills and they will advise accordingly.

What if I feel sick on the boat?

In case of seasickness, we can provide a chewing gum and tricks to make you feel better. The crew is at your disposal for any further assistance.

Do you provide food or drinks on the boat?

Our package is all inclusive. We do provide a freshly prepared meal on board and drinks on board. Every package includes different flavors prepared on board during the cruise, using fresh local products.

Should I bring towels/snorkeling gear?

Snorkeling gear is provided in all our yachts. Towels also are available in Gold Classic semi private and private cruises. Only in case of Blue and Traditional Cruises you have to bring your own towels.

Where does the cruise start from?

It depends on the tour and the time; it might start from the port of Vlychada or Ammoudi bay.

Is there any place on the yacht to have some rest or shadow?

Yes, each boat has its own outdoor or indoor areas with shading and seating that you can use at the suggestion of the crew.

What about children?

You are more than welcome to get on board with your little ones. All boats have the specifications to serve the children and always with the assistance of the crew.

Will we reach the beaches?

During the cruise we will sail close to the beaches such as Red & White and have swimming stops, however according to the Greek law, boats are not allowed to moor directly on the beach.

Will we reach the volcano?

During the cruise we will sail close to the Volcano and the Hot Springs and we will enjoy swimming in the volcanic waters. The program does not include disembarking. If you want to arrange a tour on the Volcano we suggest you to contact our team.

How many people will be on the boat?

It depends on the size of the vessel; it will be between 16 and 18 persons for our semi private cruises of Santorini.

Do you provide special dietary dishes?

Of course, we prepare special dishes for dietary needs in all our cruises upon request.

Can I book a private cruise?

Of course, let us know what you would like, and our team will arrange everything. You can even celebrate your special event (birthday, proposal, bachelor etc.)  on-board. Check out our range of private Santorini cruises and contact us for more details!

Do you offer cruises to another island?

Yes, you can arrange a full day tour to visit nearby islands such as Mykonos, Ios, Anafi, Folegandros etc. or rent the boat for multi day crewed sailing charters from Santorini.

Do you provide sailing cruises only during summer?

No, sailing in Santorini is an all-seasons activity and Caldera Yachting offers high quality boat cruises during the winter months.

Do you have only catamarans?

No, Caldera Yachting has the largest fleet in Santorini, including brand new catamarans, luxury motor yachts, sailing and traditional boats.

Is it possible to get information on board in a language other than English?

There is information available in special forms on all our boats translated into 7 languages, that you should know about the cruise but also what you should pay attention to on the boat.
